Charles S. Gerdes, Esq. started his law practice in Hawaii in 1978 and has helped
many people, specially workers, in Hawaii ever since. He has handled many workers compensation, personal injuries, probate
cases over the past 35 years. He has always been a Claimant-Plaintiff attorney who tries to bring justice against the
defendant who has hurt you. He no longer takes new workers compensation cases since they often take many years
to resolve. He decided to let younger attorneys who can continue to take care of the cases until they are all resolved,
handle new cases. He, however, takes care of any existing workers compensation cases and still takes new clients for other
areas of legal services, such as probate cases and business-related legal assistances.
His wife, Yoshiko Gerdes has a Paralegal Degree from Kapiolani Community College. She has helped him with legal
research, investigation, Japanese translation and in many other areas.
addition, he also creates custom made lathe turned Koa and Mango lamps and pens. Please see his website entitled "Kalaau
